We’re David & Sophie Solarin, a Bristol-based wedding photography and videography duo capturing relaxed, natural, and timeless weddings across the South West of England.

We work with couples throughout Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire, and beyond, documenting wedding days in a genuine, unobtrusive way that allows you to be fully present while we tell your story.

With over seven years of experience, we’ve photographed and filmed a wide range of weddings, from intimate celebrations to full day events. Our approach is documentary-led, focusing on real moments, natural emotion, and beautiful storytelling rather than stiff poses.

Every wedding booking includes two of us.

When you book photography only, we both photograph your day, capturing multiple angles and ensuring no moment is missed.

When you book a combined photography and videography package, David films your wedding while Sophie photographs it, giving you seamless, cohesive coverage across both photo and film.

Working as a husband-and-wife team means we move intuitively, communicate effortlessly, and blend into your day without distraction. Sophie’s background in art and design brings a strong creative eye for detail and composition, while David focuses on cinematic storytelling through both stills and film.

Alongside weddings, we also offer engagement sessions, family photography, portraits, and event coverage, all delivered with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail.
