John & Naomi’s wedding
There is something truly timeless about a Cheltenham wedding. From the towering white pillars of Regency architecture to the hidden rooftop gems overlooking the Cotswold hills, the town offers a perfect blend of historic grandeur and modern style.
John and Naomi’s day was a masterclass in this "Cheltenham Cool," transitioning from a stately ceremony to a sun-drenched rooftop celebration.
The Grandeur of the Queens Hotel
The day began at the iconic Queens Hotel Cheltenham. This landmark venue, with its imposing facade and royal heritage, provided a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. We captured the couple’s first moments as husband and wife under the magnificent chandeliers of the Regency Suite, followed by a high-energy confetti shot at the hotel’s entrance—a classic Cheltenham moment that never goes out of style.
Portraits in the Floral Gardens
After the ceremony, we took a short stroll to the floral gardens at the Quadrangle. This is one of our favorite spots for group photos; the vibrant blooms and manicured lawns offer a natural, soft contrast to the town’s stone architecture. John and Naomi looked completely at home here, surrounded by their wedding party and the late afternoon sun.
A Golden Hour Reception at The Nook on Five
The celebrations then moved to The Nook on Five, Cheltenham’s premier rooftop restaurant. This venue is a photographer’s dream—the floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with stunning natural light, making every candid guest reaction look like a work of art.
As the evening approached, we headed out onto the rooftop balcony for portraits. With panoramic views of the Cheltenham skyline and the hills beyond, it provided the perfect "golden hour" setting for John and Naomi to share a few quiet moments before the party truly kicked off..
